Ben Norton

Chief Executive Officer

Ben joined Silicon Space, LLC. in 2006 and brings over 15 years of domestic and international technology sales, business development, and executive management experience to the firm. His responsibilities include setting the company’s strategic direction and ensuring continuous profitable growth.

Prior to joining Silicon Space, Ben was COO and VP of Business Development for neubloc, a U.S.-based, outsourced software design and development firm. Previously Ben was Director of Sales for CalAmp's Solutions Division, a provider of outsourced engineering and technology consulting services. Ben’s career has included key sales and management positions with leading technology companies, including Intel and Lockheed Martin, in which he was instrumental in driving strategies that increased customer value and operating efficiencies.

Ben has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Irvine.

Fred Nicholson

Fred joined Silicon Space, LLC. in 2007 and brings over 20 years of software product development experience. His responsibilities include setting technology direction for Silicon Space and leading our team of architects to deliver world class technology solutions for our clients.

Prior to joining Silicon Space, Fred was Technical Director with Objectiva Software Solutions, an outsourced services provider. Previously, Fred was Director of Software Development and Director of Software Quality Assurance with Websense, Inc, where he helped lead the company from an eight million per year internet startup to a leader in the internet filtering marketplace with over 130 million in annual sales. Fred's career also included 13 years at Hewlett Packard, where he was a software developer and an R & D project manager.

Fred has a Master Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Potsdam.

Roger Bruce

Vice President of Global Delivery and Technical Operations

Roger brings more than 15 years of technology management experience to Silicon Space. As Vice President of Global Delivery and Technical Operations, Roger oversees the software technology organization and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s technical operations.

Before joining Silicon Space, Roger was VP of Application Outsourcing for Nasoft. His experience included opening and managing software and BPO centers in Mexico and India. Under his leadership, Nasoft expanded its offerings and grew its outsourcing business to $5M in revenue. Prior to Nasoft, Roger held various management positions in the financial and high-tech industry focusing on execution and delivery. In 2000, Roger served as a Director of Technical Operations for Televisa’s Internet division, where he was responsible for a large multi-cultural and geographically dispersed team located in San Jose, Dallas, and Mexico City. Roger has also managed large IT projects for TerraLycos, Infosel, EBS, and other financial and real estate firms.

Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Irvine.

David Benjamin

David joined Silicon Space, LLC in 2008 and brings with him over 16 years of sales experience in both domestic and international markets. David will be in charge of strategically developing new sales and building a world class sales force.

Prior to joining Silicon Space, David was the Region Vice President of Western North America and Latin America at UC4 Software. His pivotal role in building a solid sales force led to reduced costs and increased revenue at UC4. David was the driving force that led to significant new sales with Pacific Gas and Electric, Sun Microsystems, Comcast, and Bonneville Power.

Earlier in his career, David held key sales and management positions with Intel, Cybermation and Tivoli Systems

David holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from California State University Chico.

Dan Joseph

Vice President of Strategic Services

Dan joined Silicon Space, LLC, in early 2008 and brings more than 20 years experience within the financial, insurance, defense, service and technology sectors. His objective is to forge new and lasting strategic relationships with industry leaders.

Dan’s prior experience includes CIO for Union Benefit Life Corporation, Vice President of IS for American Express Student Loan Corporation, Director of IS for Finance and Human Resources for CCN, Inc., and Major Account Manager/Program Manager for Hewlett Packard, Nokia and Stellcom.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and has served as adjunct staff to faculty members assisting in course instruction in computer science, physics, mathematics and martial arts. Dan received Leadership Certification from the University of California at San Diego, and he has been granted various awards from Dale Carnegie, Stellcom and others.

Eric Ivko

Eric recently joined Silicon Space, LLC in March 2007, and brings over 25 years of management experience to the firm in finance, accounting and human resources, which are his current areas of responsibility.

Prior to joining Silicon Space, Eric has held CFO and Controller level positions in both manufacturing environments and service industries in public as well as privately held organizations. Eric’s career has included financing experiences with venture backed companies as well as the IPO marketplace.
