Axeus Feasibility Study and Implementation Plan

The Challenge

Axeus provides point-of-sale payment processing products and services to retailers nationwide. Always looking to improve efficiency, the company wanted to examine the possibility of building an enterprise-scale back office system to sell to its customers via an ASP model.

The Solution

To better understand such a system and determine the effects of implementing it, Silicon space worked with Axeus to define their vision and examine the relative issues. Silicon Space completed a feasibility study which considered the technical architecture, business constraints, and budget estimates of the proposed project. The feasibility study provided Axeus with functional requirements, an implementation schedule, an overall system diagram, and 31 detailed use cases describing user interactions.

The Result

Through Silicon Space, Axeus gained insights into the challenges, complexities, and opportunities involved in the implementation of a modular back office suite. Using what they had learned, Axeus successfully implemented the new tool across their enterprise, increasing revenue and better serving their customers.
