Silicon Space Provides the Edge for Venture Firm

SAN DIEGO - Silicon Space, Inc., a San Diego-based e-Business professional services firm, is the force behind the web site built for ideaEDGE Ventures, a new Internet venture accelerator and management firm, also based in San Diego.
Led by an all-star team of technology and business executives, ideaEDGE wanted a web site that would reflect its positioning as San Diego’s premier Internet venture accelerator, differentiating it from competitors. In Silicon Space, they found a professional and creative partner who could deliver timely and imaginative results. In particular, the principals at ideaEDGE were impressed with Silicon Space’s technical skills and clear methodology for web site design. “Methodologies are critical to web site design,” says Greg Gamsky, head of Information Technology at ideaEDGE. “Silicon Space treated this project as the delivery of an application. There are many web site firms that produce HTML pages, but very few have the skills to produce a branded web experience.”
The result was a web site rich with Flash animation and stunning graphics. Gamsky gives special kudos to the Silicon Space project team for their hands-on approach to making the project happen. “Some consulting firms offer a passive approach to working with clients,” says Gamsky. “I considered Silicon Space to be an extension of the ideaEDGE team.”
